Are you scratching your head? Why in the world would President Trump allow George Stephanopoulos to hang with him for 30 hours? I have no clue, except to think that President Trump has always been a few steps ahead of the Left, as in always.  Maybe this is all a miss-direction of what our President is doing behind the scene, so do not be surprised when he makes a big announcement in the near future.

One question everyone is talking about, OK "talking" is the wrong word, because the Left is falling all over themselves saying President Trump has struck at the core of our Democracy by his answer. He was asked if a foreign entity contacted you and you were told they had dirt on your opposition, would you inform the FBI?

Why such a question? It seems to be that was exactly what the left did, even worse, as Hillary paid for the Steele dossier from a foreign entity.

Maybe  this was a got-ya question, as Donald Jr was, yet again, being investigated by congress for his meeting that was to promise "damaging material" regarding Hillary. 

If President Trump said he would not inform the FBI, than the ABC anchor would have pounced with a question regarding,  is that why Donald Jr did not inform the FBI of his meeting?

Or, maybe if President Trump responded with "yes he would", the ABC anchor would have said "so what is the problem, that is exactly what the democrats did with the Steele dossier, they did indeed inform the FBI"...

But President said, "Maybe he would do both".  He would listen to what was offered, and than make a decision as to what needed to be done, and if appropriate he would inform the FBI.

Did you notice, not one "story" was accurate, not one indicated that President Trump said "I think, maybe you do both"

Stephanopoulos: Your campaign this time around, if foreigners, if Russia, if China, if someone else offers you information on opponents, should they accept it or should they call the FBI?

President Trump: I think maybe you do both. I think you might want to listen, there’s nothing wrong with listening. If somebody called from a country, Norway, “we have information on your opponent.” Oh, I think I’d want to hear it.

And one wonders why it is called "Fake news"
