What is the meaning of a black and white American flag?

The black and white flag was made to show support for the men and women at law enforcement and military who put their lives on the line every day to protect their people.

They call it the “Thin Blue Line” American flag. The name of the flag is synonymous with the military and police, and law enforcement. The “Line” is synonymous to “Line of duty”, a tribute to those who have fallen in the line of duty.

The meaning of the colors of the flag are as follows:

  • The black and white spaces above the blue line represent society and peace and order.
  • The black and white spaces below the blue line represent chaos, crime, riot, and anarchy
  • The blue line that separates these areas of the flag represents the law enforcement and military who maintain peace and order in the society and separate chaos from it.
  • The stars symbolize the citizens that law enforcement is protecting.

Some citizens have a negative reaction to this new flag. Some say it tarnishes what their nation believes and that it is an act of disrespect to the nation's flag and the act of desecration which is an illegal offense.

But others are in favor of the flag. Some company that offers fundraiser sell these flags, which when you purchase the money you paid for the flag will go to a fundraising charity for families with a loved one killed in the line of duty in the U.S
