The Fifth Circuit Court in New Orleans issued a preliminary pause on the order, which prevented the Occupational Safety and Health Administration from moving forward in implementing the employer rules.

In response, Biden filed an emergency lawsuit on Tuesday seeking to immediately reinstate his jab mandate after the rule faced a series of legal challenges.

•Nearly 600 Google workers signed a manifesto sent to Google's chief health officer Karen DeSalvo opposing the company wide jab mandate

•The letter was signed by less than 0.5% of the more than 150,000 US employees who are required to be fully jabbed or regularly tested if exempted

•The manifest claims the mandate is not 'inclusive of all Googlers' and 'publicly and possibly embarrassingly exposes' the staff

•Google's jab mandate comes as President Joe Biden announced that all US companies with 100 or more workers must require staff to be fully jabbed

•Biden's jab mandate has been challenged in several court cases
